For this first blog post, I wanted to write about a video game idea that I’ve been planning. I’ve always loved games that let players explore, build, and survive, so my dream project is to create an open-world survival game. The main focus would be on mining, crafting, combat, farming, and even building towns. I want it to have a lot of variety so that players can always find something fun to do.
What I think will make my game stand out is the mix of survival and creativity. A lot of survival games focus on staying alive, but I want mine to also encourage adventure and exploration. Players could go out into the wilderness to hunt, fight enemies, or discover hidden treasures, but they could also spend time designing farms, crafting gear, or building communities with NPCs or other players.
My ultimate goal is to create a game that feels alive and immersive. I want people to feel curious, adventurous, and excited every time they play. In a way, I think making a game is similar to web design, because both are about creating an experience for users. Just like a website needs to be easy to navigate, a game needs to be designed so players feel naturally guided through it without confusion.
