This devlog summarizes the major milestones, challenges, and lessons learned while building Project Emberfall as a student HTML/CSS project and as a long-term game concept.
Week 1
Sketched the core regions of Emberfall, listed out major biomes, and decided on a survival-focused gameplay loop centered around mining, crafting, and town-building.
Week 2
Built the initial file structure, created the shared navigation menu, and styled the home page with gradients, Google Fonts, and reusable layout components.
Week 3
Added the editions table with spanning cells, an image map over the world map, and embedded video and audio players. Also created this devlog page to document progress.
